Yes – There are some great alternatives to Adsense. People love Adsense because it’s so easy to implement and the ad’s are very well targetted. But if you’re one of the unlucky ones who does get banned don’t ever think it’s the end of the road. as “avenuegirl” pointed out – There are many other options, many of which I hope to discuss with you all soon.

But, mixing in other forms of revenue is not only a good idea but should now be considered good practice. I have increased revenue by over 30% on some sites simply by placing soem well targetted affiliate promotions – and YES, why not add your own products to the mix. A healthy online business depends on multiple income streams.

And finally, yes Bing.com is very quickly grabbing some big shares in the field, Will it rival Google and “take them down a peg or two”? who knows, but they are definately ones to watch.

Hey John thanks for the good information about google and the crackdown! I think that they should definitely let the publishers know before closing down the account, in my opinion, terrible business practice, good thing is bing.com is coming up with a new search engine and you can also use yahoo publishing, so you have some alternatives right!

Google is just like every other big bully in the world. Some day there will be somone that can get their attention and take them down a peg or two. I will not be shedding any tears when that happens. It probably will not happen soon, but eventually it always happens.

There are some great alternatives to adsense as I had to discover this myself. If your adsense account does get suspended for some crazy reason (they are very strict!) don’t fret. There are a million other ways to make money online, and a long list of other advertisers who you can apply to. If this happens to you, just know you are not alone.

I think they should allow a 2nd chance policy. We all make a small mistake every now and then. It was enough that they took my earnings – so let me start again from scratch and allow a 2nd chance. All water under the bridge at this point. I don’t think it’s going to get any easier.
